Two Cartoons and Estère to record an In Session Live at Roundhead Studios

Applications to record an In Session Live at Roundhead Studio’s Brick Room closed at midday on Wednesday 19 September, and we’re pleased to announce that Two Cartoons and Estère are the artists that we have selected for this great recording opportunity.
Dunedin’s Two Cartoons were one of the first bands to sign up to the audience.co.nz, and they recently impressed our team with their live performance at the Going Global Music Summit.
Estère has been building since winning Best Female at the Smokefree Rockquest back in 2009 - she recently supported Sola Rosa and has been getting great early support at radio. We predict big things ahead for Wellingtonian multi instrumentalist Estère, and believe that this will be a very special In Session.
Though the decision was eventually made, it was near impossible, with a number of artists out of the 100 plus applications who we’d have happily chosen. So for this reason we're going to run the opportunity again, and encourage those who missed out to go for it a second time!
You heard right - this September/October another two artists will be selected by theaudience.co.nz to have one of their tracks (from theaudience.co.nz) recorded and filmed at Auckland’s prestigious Roundhead Studios. The recording will be played on TVNZ's U Live and theaudience.co.nz Chart Show.
To be considered for this exclusive opportunity it’s as easy as being registered as an artist on theaudience.co.nz and submitting your artist page via the Members Only section on the Dashboard.
Bands can put themselves forward for this exclusive opportunity up until midday Wednesday 17 October.
