Biography

Christchurch talent, Laura Hunter, 21, is a fresh-faced singer-songwriter on the rise for 2013. Having recently released two singles ‘Don’t Be Afraid To Love’ & 'Driving in a Straight Line' produced by Lukas Kelly. Her Debut EP will be released in early 2013.

Laura & Lukas, based in Christchurch, can be found playing both their live acoustic shows, & their upbeat electro set at various venues. Follow Laura on facebook for updates of her live shows & music releases. Laura's origional music is accoustic based - electro pop, that intertwines Laura & Lukas' passion for Drum & Bass, Hip hop & soul. At Rhythm & Alps 2012, Laura accompanied Tali Live on stage to perform the song 'Festivally Skank' which she featured on on Tali's album. Laura has just recently been selected as local support for Six60's Christchurch gig on the 17th of April. www.facebook.com/laurahuntermusicsoundcloud.com/laurahunter

Today a bunch of very talented Fledge musicians are all playing a few songs each for a christmas line up at Artbeat in the city mall from 12 to 2pm. Im up at 12 if anyone is wandering around swing on by!
