Killergrams are an alternative blues/country band based in Dunedin, New Zealand. Original members Thomas Maxwell (from Queenstown) and Joseph Bishop (originally from Sussex, England) met two years ago in Dunedin and began playing together in various bands until forming Killergrams.
Sharing a love for solid blues, country and alt rock styles, along with well-crafted lyrics, in a ridiculously short time Killergrams have gone on to release a beautifully produced E.P. and embark upon a South Island tour, receiving critical acclaim along the way.
Combining influences from their travels within Australia and Europe, Tom and Joe have found common ground in crafting their own music together, collaborating with friends and locals to fill out their material.
Recorded and mixed by David Craig and mastered at Kog Studio in Auckland, their debut EP “So In The Night” evokes moments of Young, Bon Jovi, Ray La Montagne, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jeff Lang, along with an artistry that hits the aural pleasure-zone, demanding repeat plays.
Delivering a compelling live act, Killergrams are already securing future gigs on summer bills, as they prepare to complete their current works in progress and head back to the studio.
