Franko

Born in New Zealand but raised by the World. Franko has toured the Globe with his straight up breed of Rock'n'Roll starting as a Busker on the streets of the Gold Coast Australia, playing as halftime entertainment at Big Boxing Events in Las Vegas, wowing huge Theatres in China to creating a large following in his "second home" Japan. Upon signing with Shock Records in early 2012 he has just realeased his long awaited Debut Album "VAGABOND" that has jumped straight to Number #11 on the NZ Album Charts & had Franko opening for LA Rockers Steel Panther for his first live show with full band all in its first week! Not to mention winning New Zealand's hottest new music competition www.theaudience.co.nz which the prize was a cool $10,000 NZ on Air Grant.  The 1st single "Hero" is a Rock Ballad co-write with the unsuspecting Manu Bennett lead charactor "Crixus" in the Hit American Tv Seris Sparticus. "Hero" has now been scooped up by the NZ Teenage Help Service "Youthline" as their flagship anthem. Second single is the title track "Vagabond" which is a "Floor Stomping" breakout release explains alot of who Franko is, a traveller, a nomad, his home where he lays his head, because that has been much of his life. Also appearing on the track is arguably New Zealand's most established Rock Guitarist & Godson of Cat Stevens, Andy Lynch formally of the bands Zed, Atlas, Anika Moa & now plays in The Feelers. If you like bands like Metallica, AC/DC, Papa Roach & The Foo Fighters then this albums for YOU!! His first ever release "We Are One" has now been heard by Millions round the world & Franko will be performing at Coca Cola Christmas in the Park this year & has just been asked to join the NZ Team for The Worlds Arts Games in Croatia next year & "We Are One" has been chosen as the Offical Team Song. "VAGABOND" can be found in all major CD Stores in New Zealand & on iTunes throughout the rest of the World. Strap in & Buckle Up coz this is going to be one hell of a ride...www.frankomusic.com
