Biography

Drawing from a wide variety of influences, Brockaflowersaurus-rex & The Blueberry Biscuits are a Neo-Soul, Experimental, Hip-hop group. Quickly making waves in the Wellington music scene, they showcase fresh, young talent and produce a massive and unique sound. Brockaflower features a tight rhythm section, a first-class horn section, and three sultry vocalists.

Currently performing as a resident band at Bar Bodega, Brockaflower have played alongside bands such as Olmecha Supreme and the The Dreamers.

Formed in 2009 with Pat Stewart, Thomas Friggens and Ashton Sellars, Brockaflower began doing various gigs around town playing instrumental funk. After gradually incorporating each new artist, they became the 9-piece mega-band that they are today. With their debut live EP just released in may, you can expect monumental things from this band.
